Anyone here do drum covers ? If anyone did , can tell me where's the best place to do it . As in which place has the best drum and stuff.

Like, you play a song on your own , record it . Mix it with the song and put it on youtube etc to show your talent . You got me ?

usually people who do drum covers on youtube does it at home, record, sync, mix it themselves but im sure there are some who does it in studios.. But if its in Singapore, im not really sure.. .hmmm. If you have a camcorder or smth, you can try anaki records though, they've got this really sweet drum kit on their stage. a high-end 9 piece Mapex Orion kit with good cymbals. and if you've got your own personal Drum mics, you can mic it up, rent the stage room, do drum covers, mix it there, but of course, it'll be extremely costly... Thanks for the info ! haha. but where is the studio . that sucks for not owning a drum set . If i have. I have done lots of covers .
the studio is at Chinatown . you can google Anaki Records for the price , studio , and whatever other information you need . It's close to the Mcdonalds . Last time i went they had this really nice drum room with lots of cymbals . splash , china , crash , ride , everything a drummer would need . nicely tuned set as well . but heard they kinda "restructured" the studio .

Hook the mics up to the inputs on either a multi-track recorder or an audio interface for your computer. A small four-track recorder is fairly inexpensive ($200) compared to some of the larger 8 or 16 track recorders. Some models are well over a thousand bucks. For drums I would recommend at least an 8 track recorder. A four track will work but you will have to group some of your pieces together. I use an Audio Interface that hooks up to my computer. Love it. I can add effects and edit each individual piece of my kit. I bought it for around 800 bucks and just saw it was down to 350 the other day at Guitar Center.
