CHEERS to ESP's jp guitars man!! they're all super SWEET!!! :D davis is ESP's authorized dealer tho.... but they dun hav so maybe u could try askin dem if they can bring in 4 u :?:

yup ! its his alright

now davis provides ESP customization. ( its on their website )
Maybe you can go make 1 just like his . since its gonna cause you around the same

Dudes, we have to appeal to davis, lol. Then they'll think that it's a good way to earn $$$ and bring in the jap series.

they do bring in ESP jp series, it's called Edwards. go check it out. there's a white single hum rhoads guitar on display.

Freaking awesome.

HEY!!! ESP ROCKS.

okay back to topic: i suggest that if you're serious enough, IMPORT ONE DIRECTLY FROM JAPAN!!!

i have a Lakland Shoreline, which is custom made in the ESP custom factory!! YES! i.e. i have an ESP made bass of a US design. well, sort of.

so once again, IMPORT ONE FROM JAPAN. you can't go wrong with high end basses like ESP!

No picture no talk, lol. Anyway, when ordering a custom made guitar from Japan, what details do you give? And try uploading a pic of your bass if you can, really interested in what it looks like.

My bass is the Cherry Sunburst. The one next to it is my pal's TRB6 (MIJ). my camera isn't with me, hence my lack of photos of my 2nd Jap bass.

thats one hell of a beauty bro...how's the playability of the 35" scale? got any significant diff from the 34"? 8)

hahaha the 35" is awesomE! i'm still hunting for 35" THRU BODY strings tho... anyone know of any? even PRISMS and ESP strings dont support 35" thru body... it's like super long scale, more like 36" strings...

take a 34" standard string length, add an inch cuz of the neck scale then add another inch for thru-body stringing. and u get a very big problem. lol

first, do a japanese websearch for that bass. then, calculate the yen into SGD. next, apply postal charges which would usually be 100SGD + 5% of the bass. then apply GST, and $5 handling fee on the local side. finally, ask the website if they do international EMS shipping, and payment by wire transfer. then add teh wire transfer fee.

i'm not well versed with the price of ESP basses such as that, but i'd say ... 2k-3k range

For the string issue, you can get the DR long necks. I've got a 35" with string thru body and this fits really nicely. Oh ya, they're tapered strings too. Great tone. Got it from Davis.

Yup!! I'm using em now. :D

My only issue with DR strings is that they have this reaaallly dry "sticky" feel, very painful to play on for more than 6 hrs a day, especially sliding
