Does a unplayable guitar exists? even setup can't solve it?

A year ago, i bought a lp copy at a cheap price, until now it had been a display. Neck relief great, action isnt set to the lowest, but it buzz nearly all over the frets, especially on the lower fret.

Is it possible to set it up? My only answer to the buzz is probably

1) The angle of the neck being attached to the body (IF this is true, am i doom to a unplayable piece?)
2) Imbalance height of frets along the guitar.

Any good luthier to reccomend?

Fret buzz only 2 reasons. Neck isn't straight or frets are uneven. Depends but either way, can be rectify, unless the truss rod is broken, then it will be waste of time and money to replace the truss rod of a cheap guitar.

A lot of shops here can do good fret leveling. Standard value, Guitar workshop, Maestro just to name a few.

And in this case.. if it's a serious one,
the repair would probably cost half the guitar's price.

check with Malcolm how much it would cost.

Thanks and appreciate the plug zesn :) I agree with ShredAddict as well.

It all boils down to how much you "love" the guitar and how much you're willing to spend. This is my 19th year working on guitars and I've yet to come across a guitar that tone and playability can't be improved. I'd charged twice what the guitar cost and folks have been very happy with their "investment" :)
