Documentary: True Norwegian Black Metal

the unfortunate incarnation of the genre itself was a by-product of religion hating, hence the inevitable culture. however hard one tries to educate the masses, they disregard the trees for the forest.

there are also too many impressionable people who are into the music, they see the culture as complementary, some even see it as a necessity.

i appreciate the genre for the music, first & foremost.

^ lol, gay as in?
haha.

the only black metal band i listened to before was immortal.
and at that point of time i have no clue about the background/history of the genre,
so i was basically just enjoying the ambience of their music and trying to understand what are they talking about.
haha.
