Do Amazon.Ca ships their books to Singapore?

1. Apply for vpost, get follow the instructions given by vpost.

2. Order your product from Amazon, specify your item to be shipped to the vpostUSA address.

3. Drop an email to vpost within 24 hrs with your invoice (a picture of the invoice on the webpage works)

4. Wait till the item ships to your vpostUSA address, then pay vpost to ship back to Singapore.

Any more queries, visit www.vpost.com.sg - firsthand information is better.

I signed up recently with vpost and ordered from a US shop that doesn't ship to Singapore. Placed the order on 10th March. The package was delivered to Vpost address in California in less than 6 days. I paid within 1 hour when vpost sent me the delivery bill.

Today 31st March I am still waiting for my package.

They said my shipment was delayed because the US Custom conducted some checks.

I wish they could come up with some better excuse when they try to lie to their customers. At least don't treat them like 3 year old kids.

We all know Vpost earns by consolidating space per shipment, packing as many orders as they could per shipment so as to save their cost. Why don't they just come clean and tell me they are waiting for more stuff to fill up the volume available?

They will charge you extra if you hold your stuff at their US base for more than 2 weeks. But they get away with it for delaying my shipment indefinitely.

So, I shall cause them to lose business by warning potential customers like you. They are going to be very sorry for treating me like an idiot.

Anyway I don't think they can operate this monopoly for much longer. Any business idea in Singapore that proves lucrative can and will be duplicated by others quickly.

(oh yeah, forgot to mention they actually ask me to send my invoice the second time after they sent me a confirmation that they received it the 1st time. Wonder what they'll say next? "Oh could you pay one more time cos we didn't receive it?")

Interestingly, I've just Fed-Ex a CD master to Sydney on Thurs. Initially, I thought it'd cost more than VPost. Surprisingly, it was 2 bucks cheaper and a day faster! Woot!

yeah...
their customer service's sucks. Always give you template answer which doesn't really answer your question.

But their shipping is quite OK. I've used their service many times without problem. A bit slow at processing order though, but well, I don't need my stuff that urgent.
