DIY repair need help pup no sound

thanks for any help.Middle pup has no sound when the switch is in center position,other position has no problem,need to know if the pick up faulty or the switch is faulty.best solution to send to repair shop.but I want to learn.

Bro, can I assume you refering to a strat, mid single coil and five way switch? How many wires are there from the middle pickup? If there are two wires (one bare and one w sleeve), the bare one is your ground wire. check if that is wired correctly to a ground point and the sleeved wire to the contact point of your selector switch mid position.
