DIY Patch Cable

Hi guys,
Could anyone let me know if there is any problem making diy patch cables using speaker cable? Thank you.

Speaker cable is totally different from guitar cable. The guiat cable consists of a core wire and a grounding braid around the core.U might be able to do something but i dun think it will be very effective.

speaker cable and instrument cable for effect connecting are 2 different thing...

use the right one for the right thing, speaker cable into effect might not be drastic, but instrument cable between head and cab will cause damage, burnt parts...

Afaik speaker cables are designed for low resistance, whereas instrument cables are designed for low capacitance. Plus the shielding is required to reduce noise. Just use the correct type of cable for the right application.
