This is so fucking sad. I will remember this day the same way others remember Rhoads, Hendrix and SRV. Dime was a true guitar hero whose guitar playing in Pantera almost single handledly kept metal alive during the 90's. Your riffs were the best, Dime, RIP.

Together, they made up a formidable Force of Metal, Pantera.

Being 15 and being so naived, I didn't care about this band until a cousin of mine borrowed me his Walk single, which he still holds it.

That cd blows me away literally!

I started to look around various music stores to find any Pantera stuffs and there were none.

In a desperate attempt, I went to Johor, Komplex Tun Abdul Razak and found Cowboys from Hell..

It was just a cassette but that cassette changed my life..

As the intro to Cowboys From Hell screams from the background, me and my buds just just stood there speechless. 8O

Art of Shredding, Domination, The Medicine Man, The Sleep, Cemetary Gates was my daily breakfast.. I live and breathe Pantera..

I went back to Johor and got myself Vulgar Display Of Power and the rest is history...
