So ur band/u is/are finally ready to record some tracks. And now u're thinking of whether you should do it in a bedroom studio or a professional "big-name" analog studio.
The bedroom studio helps to lower ur production cost as the rates are lower. If a professional analog studio charges at $120 per hour, the digital studio probably charges only $80/hour, considering that the studio uses the same engineer.
The professional studio has a list of high quality equipment, from expensive microphones, to expensive outboard eq/compressors/pre-amps etc. U get a better sound out of the production.
U can save money going to a bedroom studio, or u can go to a professional studio and spend more to get better sound tracks which "helps in getting to ppl to listen your music".
Which would u choose?
