Hi, currently i am using my karaoke system as my amp. Was very curious abt on how to improve my current sound system? Or shld i juz get an acoustic amp instead.

I have a BMB speakers and a karaoke set, where i plug my acoustic guitar into the mic and play as usual. The sound seem fine. But i was tinking how to improve on it and add effects to my system for my guitar.

And is it appropriate to plug my guitar into my karaoke system?

Amps are definitely easier to carry around than a speakers system, that's all know. Dunno too much about the sound quality difference cos I have never tried using karaoke speakers before.

i played tru my stereo system a few times. it sucks, cuz the guitars output just distorts the signal. u will need DI box, i thikn

hmm wouldnt the karaoke amp like die haha , i say invest in a guitar amp rather then blowing the mic amp or risking it but its your choice

hi .. it can ampilfy your guitar signal but speaker for hifi /karaoke not that good sounding. just not match with guitar from my exp building tubes amp.. sound bassy and lack of high..guitar speaker is full range . (cover all frequency for guitar)

er.. i don't like the idea of the karaoke set..
get a proper good one instead.. use AER for your acoustic..
it projects damn well for your acoustic.. NO MATTER WHAT GUITAR!!!
