Diff between Strat Standard and strat. HELP !

Hi guys. I'm new here. And planning to buy a Squier Strat. But i'm really confused . Is a Squier Strat standard different from a Squier Strat ? Cos i saw Sweelee's site and Byleft's site. theres a price difference and name difference.

what you see in Byleft's gallery ($265) is probably the Squier California series (picture isn't too revealing) which are very affordable Squiers, generally, they retail for <$300...

over at the Swee Lee site is the Squier Black Chrome Strat, one of the manufacturer's Special Edition models, this costs more than the above guitar, do take note.

so what you are dealing with here are guitars with the same brand name but coming from different series.

Oh. Thanks for your help. So Erm.. Which one is better the Squier standard Strat or the california Strat ? Oh and one more question. Sorry. Err.. does swee lee sell any Squier Strat Standard or california.
