The Diamond Memory Lane Jr is a compact digital delay unit that sports some very cool features. these include double time where the delays are shortened (Eg: 1/4 -1/8), a Modulate on off, tap tempo and a ratio control. i find the ratio control particularly useful as instead of having to turn knobs, it is a flick switch that toggles through the ratios one by one thus you can change the ratios with a "kick" instead of having too crouch down to dial knobs while playing live which is very useful. another thing about this pedal is that it does not go into self oscillation which can happen very often with analog delay pedals. this pedal is definitely something for guitarists who want something more versatile than a analog delay without busting the wallet but not go full on digital. i recommend this to be a primary delay unit in front of an analog delay which makes the sound very full and add a ton of sustain to volume swells or or dotted eights.
