Development Of Music In Singapore

is there any documented timeline of the dev. of music in singapore... if no, can someone give me a brief sorta summary of some sort? i need it urgently for a project... did some searches but nothing came up... thks..

if it's still available somewhere, somehow, there was a book from 1997/98 that is quite decent, on the local scene from 80s to 90s. The title is "No finer time to be alive"...
