BIOGRAPHY
Demonification was spawned in the year 1997 by guitarist and vocalist, Fai Sall aka Psycho Fai, with the drum works of Juraij aka J.Rage and bass monster, Fairoz aka Ferox. Under heavy bombardments of being influenced by Judas Priest, Black Sabbath, Sodom, Kreator, Destruction, Sadus, Whiplash, Megadeth, Motorhead, Sabbat, Abhorer and Impiety, Demonification was only natural to play Thrash Metal in the style of the raging and speed.
After countless of rehearsing through years, Demonification self released raw demos, and EPs to friends and listeners alike. Thus playing in local gigs. Soon after, J.Rage quit and was replaced by Tajudin Taib aka Demonomancer (ex Impiety). The first official release recorded in Blackisle Recording Studio entitled, "For The People", hit the masses. Positive and negative feedbacks hit the band but like any other bastards, the band move on without a care. More local gigs, more Metal.
Demonomancer, being the big brother in the band decided to quit (but still contribute in songwriting) due to the arrival of Iskandar Shah aka Dagoth (ex Abhorer) who joined Demonification. Thrash Metal was at its best when Dagoth came aboard with his ideas and raging speed drummings. The band went into Blackisle Studio again to record, "The Holocaust Continues" EP, which was well received by friends and listeners, especially in Asia and Europe.
After Dagoth retirement, Didi aka Demonizer was summon to play the drums. Hours and hours of rehearsing before the band recorded their debut album, this time in Music Zone studio. "Hell Metal" was the title of Demonification's first album. Their evil fame was so flamed with interest till a local commercial magazine, FHM interviewed Psycho Fai.
Little that the outside world knew that the band itself is having problems. Debts and financial problems seems to take a toll on the band. Ferox left the band to join Meth while Demonizer missing in action (there is one gig where Demonizer didn't show up, Ferox had to play the drums). Psycho Fai decided to close Demonification in 2005 and join Ironfist as a lead guitarist.
Years after Demonification demise, Incoffin Productions (Thailand) released a split tape of Ironfist and Demonification. And in 2010, Psycho Fai put up Demonification songs on youtube for new generations to listen and download.
As of 2011, Psycho Fai have summon the old and original member, J.Rage to hammer the drums. And Thoth from Saitan on bass. Welcome to hell.
