Deciding Bet. 2 Acoustics

from my experience with acoustic guitars.

No acoustic guitar even if the same model. Would sound the same.

Because the sound really depends on the wood, and i doubt you'll get 1 billion tree's with the exact same wood ( same age, same amount of sunlight, same amount of water bla bla bla)

So quite frankly, asking for reviews for acoustic guitars are rather pointless cause you may pay like... 10000000 bucks for a guitar with the MOST EXPENSIVE wood in the world, BUT , it may not resonate well with other woods and therefore, a crappy sound.

So i suggest bring your money go to the shop, try both, which one you like better? Get THAT ONE, cause most probably you may not like the next one :)

Cheers

Crafter D6/N http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/a/a7/Crafter_D6N.jpg

Which would be a better buy ? Ive not yet personally hear e sound of crafter D6/N , am quite lazy to make the trip down.

Comments ? Advices ?

with an attitude like this, im quite sure not many people will help.

im in a good mood so..do consider price factor. the ed-2 is 549. while i saw a DE12/n going for 580. which im sure the D6/n will be much cheaper.

do try them out. dont be lazy.

@ Unknown : Haha im sorry , im juz having exams right now so im quite "lazy" to make the trip there . I will definetly try them out after exams . Juz asking for opinions as some soft-ies might have tried/owned them and could comment wheter they are worth the money spent :)

Hey dude.

Just a suggestion, you should really check out Custom Acoustics at Citymusic.

There are full solid models going for $333 onwards during the current sale.

I just got an FG52E full solid and it plays really well.

Go check em out.

They've got a solid engelmann spruce top + solid ovangkal back & side model too. $382 i think.

i've tried various maestro and crafter guitars and on a very general average, i find the crafters to just look a little better made, and sound abit better.

agreed. now im definitely eyeing the solid spruce top and dao back and sides one. one the brightest sounding acoustic ive ever played. just my type. hehe.

one time i've tried the maestro full solid, forgot which one though. there are some flaws here and there cosmetically. dents here, uneven paintwork there. it's a display piece, so maybe because of improper handling. i don't know.

Hmm, i own a Maestro... The sound is quite bright, better than the Crafter ones i tried.
@theunknown: I think that one's been mishandled... The one i bought was perfectly fine, no uneven painting or scratches or anything. It's a decent guitar.
