damaged nut area

It shouldn't be a problem but if the finish has chipped off or cracked, its almost impossible to repair it aesthetically. A touch up and making the surface smooth again is the best that can be done on most occasions. You can drop it off at the store or if you want me to take a look, I'll be at the esplanade tomorrow. However usually, I'm at the excelsior store on Sat.

Dhalif, sorry for the late reply. What you describe shouldn't b a problem. It should be cleaned up pretty good with some micro chisels.
