custom pickguard

hi softies, im using a timbre j bass and as im currently with a sunburst body, i think i wud prefer a black-white-black pickguard or a tort shell one, rather than the plain looking white one..any comments on the colour choice?

and according to mike from standard value, the pickguard is not the same shape as the fender ones, so will someone be kind enough to tell me where i can do a custom pickguard, and roughly how much it will cost?

Best is to ask Mike to order a pickguard through Timbre as custom pickguards cost a bomb.

hi fgl, as i stated in my first post, the shape of the pickguard is not the same as fender ones..so thr link u supplied cannot help me..hahas

Thanks man. Heh we could just buy a blank sheet online and slowly work with a drill and saw. And sandpaper. = P
