Crabcore/Metalcore synth playing

I got a band that's rather on the crabcore metalcore line, but i have no idea how to play the keyboard or how to start with it, any ideas?

First buy a keyboard and learn pop keyboard/piano playing.For keyboard, you could look for Yamaha MMO6, Korg X50/M50 or Roland Juno since synth is what you wanna get. For synthesis you have to learn your own as many keyboard function in different way, but you can find info on many forum.

Okay, I've got a 6 year old keyboard, perfect condition and all, does that do?

Where do I begin? Pop songs doesn't seem too easy, I don't have any musical background whatsoever, all I can do is scream.

You can just keep your keyboard, and look for pop school to learn. You just need know whether you are going to sing and play or do solo keyboard/piano. Some school you can switch here or there. When you can play well, then look for a keyboard that suit you need.

I wasn't planning to learn from a school, hmmm, thanks anyway. I'm doing both screams and sometimes solos.
