I'm new in this forum but been browsing this site for some time now.I have a question for all the bass players around.
I have a Yamaha RBX 260 bought 13 years ago at the Yamaha shop in Suntec ( now Carrefour ). It's been with me and never let me down on gigs. No dents and well taken care until now. It has been sentimental bass guitar for me and regreted once I think of selling it off to get an active bass.
Now you guys know a shop dealing on modifying basses? I want to convert it to active. I saw an EMG active Pbass pick up at Davis guitar and was thinking of converting it plus some more electronics. Anybody have converted their basses like what Ive'd plan? How much will it cost me and any recommendations for a nice active pick up?(Not so expensive though )
