Can anyone help me with converting mp3 to midi to the best sound and the best program to covert? thx

oh i just downloaded some mp3 to MIDI converter and convert just like tt.. those unwanted noise actually come from the guitar effects from the song..

99% of freely available "mp3/wav/audio-format-x to midi" converters are mono audio to midi type 0 converters. Commercial solutions may exist, though.

What your converter is doing is searching for transients and outputting a MIDI noteon with the note number determined by comparing the transient's frequency against a table. A full song includes thousands of these attacks, and some are overlapping one another. As such, you get garbage although the fundamental tunes and tempos of the song can be salvaged.

why would u want to convert though? it doesn't sound like it will ever produce good enough results. unless ur mp3 file is a just a simple acoustic guitar or piano audio file la.
