connection to FIREWIRE 410

Hello!

anybody know how to connect stereo speakers with stereo mini plug (mine's altec lansing atp3) to the M-AUDIO FIREWIRE 410 for playback and recording?

oh and is there any SPECIAL SETTINGS to make on my com to recognise the 410 as my main sound card?

easiest solution would be a 1/4"-1/8" inch adaptor, plug into one of the headphone outputs on the front of the 410. the output volume of the headphone outs isn't too high though.

otherwise, a combination of Y-adaptors and 1/4"-1/8" adaptors would allow you to plug into a pair of the main outputs of the 410.

as for special settings, its just control panel>sounds/audio devices>audio tab, and choose the M-audio 410 multi as your default device for playback/recording.
