confused and going nuts

hi guys.
my friends and i are planning to do a simple recording.We are only using keyboard,electric drumkit,and mic,and probably acoustic guitar.

WELL THE QUESTION IS..
I DO NOT KNOW ANY SINGLE THING ABOUT RECORDING.

Can you guys,the good samaritans,tell me what i need to buy to do this simple acoustic recording in my room?

as this is a very broad question i really have to refer you to this site! its really an interesting read, and every recording beginners really should go through this!

anyway... basically you need a sequencer software (cubase, sonar, protools,logic etc.) in your computer, a audio interface such as the m-audio FW410( this is to channel in your microphone signals, your electric drums and also your keyboard ) into the sequencer.

keyboard and electric drums you connect via MIDI.
