Classical vs. Acoustic

Ok maybe this question might have been asked many times before. But what are the diferences between a classical and an acoustic guitar?

typically acoustic has steel strings, classical has nylon.
classical guitars usually dont have fret markers on the fretboard.
classical guitars have a wider fretboard profile.

tone wise, acoustic guitars are alot brighter due to the steel strings.

I am impressed by your patience to answer this basic question. ;)

well, i was once a noob and i got no help whatsoever at all back then (before the internet got popular) ...so, gotta help the noobs once in awhile coz i know that feeling./

generally, accoustic guitars are slightly easier to play as they have thinner necks as compared to classical guitars but on the downside, their strings have a significant difference in tension as compared to classical guitars.
but actually its all down to the player's preference.
some people are able to play the classical guitar fluently while they cant really play the acoustic guitar due to the thin necks which they might not be used too and vice versa :)

Classical guitars are easier to press ,
in terms of when you playing chords ,
as they hurt lesser if you just started learning the guitar.
however , acoustic guitars necks are thinner ,
so you dont need to strech your hand as far as you do using the classical guitar ,
however , if you just learned how to play a guitar ,
playing using acoustic guitars do hurts abit as it has steel strings , unlike classical which uses nnylon strings.
