I own an old yamaha g225 classical guitar with an impossible to play(at least for me) action. I understand that adjusting the action of a classical guitar would require the changing of it's nut. However, my question in doing so is whether lowering the action would affect it's tone, sustain, etc.. The current setup is kinda impossipe for me to play. I'm also wondering if changing the nut? Is that what it's called? Would also improve the sustain/tone.
