Revolver Magazine Features ChthoniC As "Bands To Watch"

To all ChthoniC supporters!!

Chthonic is included in "Bands To Watch" column of the latest December published "Revolver Magazine".

The interview takes half page covering from Chthonic's music to their political principal. Headlining "Their Black Metal Springs From Sorrow, But It Makes Some People Very Angry" means that Chthonic's songs take the sad history of Taiwan as nutrition, however pisses off China which is just across the sea.

2007, ChthoniC will be heading to Europe to promote the release of Seediq Bale -with a press conference featuring Major metal media -Terrorizers, Metal Hammer etc..!!

I think this is the band which I've been searching high and low for!

Wanted to know more about them because I saw an ad promoting their latest album on some metal magazine I was browsing through in popular bookstore and I was quite mesmorised by their face painting designs. It's like normal black metal style of makeup with a pulligistic essence to it. Think chinese wayang face designs painted black and white! :wink:

a very powerful death metal band...

I just got the album this afternoon!!!!

Omgggggggg they are freaking awesome man!!!! It's like black metal with an oriental feel to it. Great album!!!!

Might consider buying the Taiwanese version of the album thou....

their appearance @ wacken is deserving. instead of churning out another BM release, there are sufficient differences here to make them unique. they should drop by singapore some time, yes? 8)

Yea! They even beat other mainstream bands in the region to get an award from Taiwan President Chen Shui-Bian in a Taiwan yearly music award a few years back. :twisted:

yeah for the best rock band or something like that right? i was surprised that they beat bands like mayday n shin cuz i've heard of those bands way more than i've heard of chthonic.
