Zildjian Dennis Chambers Signature Double Stick/Mallets
"Small, round tip on the traditional striking end. Seamless felt mallet head on the other."

My friend has a pair of these, I really liked them when I borrowed them for awhile. Expensive though, I think $40-$50. Music Plaza, Plaza Sing.

Vic Firth SD6 Swizzle B
"An SD2 with a hard, spun felt ball attached to the butt end. Ideal for fast changes on cymbals."

This goes for about $20-$30++ at swee lee. The stick is thick though.

yo yeah thanks there.

I personally have a set of dennis chambers too. Normal ones la. I liked it a lot. However i heard stories about it breaking easily. And its pretty expensive just by adding a mallet head on the other end huh. So would you actually buy one of these?

I dont think the vic firth one is for me. Well, its pretty cheap for a mallet but vic firth is like very heavy and you told me this thing is thick. So no doubt it would be heavy la.

well i use ahead sticks with mallet tips. the mallet tip can be bought at drmp for 12 dollars i think.. well it works fine for me, better than having plastic tips tt ppl use for normal drumsticks, and better for some ppl, u can actually change frm mallet to drumstick tips whenever you feel like! not advertising anyth btw((:
