Cheap Pedal

Does anyone know where to buy cheap pedals ? I need a pedal for a gift to my friend. Hopefully less than 50$ ? I saw at sv but too expensive . Any suggestions ? Thanks

You can try Joyo or Danelectro pedals. Build quality for the price is not bad imo. But ymmv!

but buying a pedal for a friend is quite a hit-or-miss thing.. if your friend has a $300+ distortion pedal (e.g. wampler slostortion) and you buy a $50 distortion pedal, he / she might never ever use it

I agree with what Vidak said. Why don't you pull in a few other friends and buy a mid-range pedal, maybe around $200. My friends bought me a OCD for my 21st, its the only pedal that has been on my board since heheh.

Actually i wan to buy for him as he is new to guitar and he say he doesn't want a branded one, just one for practicing. I am also not well-off , so asked u guys for opinions

assuming he has no pedals at all, a distortion pedal should be a good first pedal

joyo pedals can be found at sv guitars, danelectro pedals can be found at tymc. both shops are at peninsula / excelsior shopping centre basement (city hall)
