CAVE's second gig!
Tickets are at $14 presale!
Alcohol will only be served to ages 18 and above.

Email cav.events@gmail.com with your name, number of tickets and contact number.
Alternatively, you can get tickets from the bands themselves, or anybody from CAVE.
See you there! (the map with directions will be posted soon)

A quick simple way of directing: for those of you who know how to get L Cube studios, once you're up the hill, Honeytrapp is there itself, you don't have to turn right.

The address is 98A Duxton Hill. It's a short walk from Tanjong Pagar MRT: here's a map:

(thanks superkicky!)

The bands will be playing 30 minute sets in the order in which they have been listed, so for example if the show starts perfectly as intended, then Bedroom Utensils will begin at 7pm, Arrowhead at 730pm, so on and so forth. Of course give or take a few minutes between each set. =)

the order is as listed on the poster from top to bottom. WGB has to play early because one of their members is busy later in the night.

hey visa,

i can't say it's the only or best way to present a bill, but generally, it's good practice to highlight your featured or headlining bands, in bigger font or any other way you can think of, a simple example:

The Fire Fight
Armchair Critic
Deputy Siren

etc.
etc.

it gives recognition to your headliner, and it also gives people a better idea of who is playing when. it gives people more confidence that they will be able to catch the band(s) they want to watch if they don't happen to be free for the entire duration of the event. people don't like to risk wasting their time going to a gig if they don't know when their favorite band(s) are going to be playing. give the recognition to your headliners and let the people decide for themselves if they want to support the other bands. the onus is then on the supporting bands to do their part and bring a crowd as well. and if no one bothers to stay for the headliner, then that's shitsville.......

understood =D

although in this particular case, the show isn't exactly focused on one headlining act but all the bands in general.

but will keep everything in mind!

Interesting lineup.. Haven't heard the other bands other than WGB & Armchair Critic.

Visa - Can show timings of each band's set? And directions/map to Honeytrapp? :oops:

Wayne - Dude, you going for this one?

reminding everybody that tickets for Eruption @ Honeytrapp will be sold at Rendezvous @ Gas Haus this saturday! It's a free show, so see you there!

I see great future in the band Armchair Critic. I respect it as a band. However, i feel that it is not a need for the band to perform in every events CAVEvent organise. It will give people an impression that armchair is using CAVEvent for the band's publicity. You guys need to be more professional. Hope you'll see my message in a positive way.

Hi Nerdykid;

totally understood. Visa has mentioned to me too that he would prefer not to play in CAVE shows because he would like to have more freedom to oversee the event. Armchair Critic is simply the most reliable and hardworking band that I have had the chance to work with- they sell the most tickets to all the events we've had so far! And good crowd is very important.

As the members of Armchair Critic are soon to be busy with their studies, et cetera, they will not be playing in many CAVE shows. They are not, for example, slated to perform in our next show in April. As the shows get bigger, I will need Visa's and Ahmad's help even more with them as they are very reliable, hardworking and efficient individuals. Hard to find crew like these!

Thank you for your positive and mature response =)
