Would appreciate some help here , well i have a nitro finished guitar and it needs a new case. would any of the standard cases out there be suitable without imprinting its own color into the guitar?

almost all cases have the same material on the inside. just have to live with it unfortunately.

what you can do is not store your guitar in it's case for long periods of time.

I have seen vintage Fenders that have been left in their cases for more than 30 years. their finish would end up being rough because of the impressions made by the cloth material over the years.

you don't need 30 years to get that kinda of "damage". that only happens when you leave your guitar in a case for too long in a warm environment.

Heh relinquish69, that's one way to get a quick 'closet classic' look!

As for the OP, SKB cases are always a good place to start.
