Can Guitar Volume Pedal be used for Bass?

can anyone enlighten me, can guitar volume pedal be used for bass?

are you talking about the boss volume pedals? those can be used for bass and even keyboards. i'm not sure about the rest, like ernie ball, but i'm quite sure that you can use them because a volume pedal modifies the amplitude of the signal (which is the volume for audio signals) and has nothing to do with the frequency (which would be the pitch, low for bass) of the signal.. so it shouldn't be a problem!
