Callaham Guitar Block

? what do you mean?

are u referring to the pickups instead? cos the blocks AFAIK is not mentioned whether they are cyrogenically treated.

I was just being an arse haha. Anyway, I think alot of it is hype. I've heard guitars with callaham blocks, but it didn't sound as good as some stock fenders. So bottom line is accesories are not as important, the stock guitar which sounds good will likely be better with upgrades.

ok i just got on the fenderforum website and got a better understanding of the Callaham.

but in general i'm thinking it's simply the weight that matters more than anything. they're probably right in saying RI blocks and Callaham blocks are more or less on par and it wouldn't make a difference if you replaced a RI block with a Callaham.

all i'm wondering now is if a Fender Reissue block would fit into any stock Fender Mexican guitar... don't really fancy the neck profile of Reissues.
