i check out the sweelee website and it sales 880,i think, for the s470? yet at the shop, its 1170...

if i order from the website,is it really 300 cheaper?

not really planning on buying the guitar yet...but its just that,on the website,it says its cheaper...much cheaper...

and no,i've not called them...

anyone bought anything through sweelee's website, and are their prices listed on the website really true?

:)

i think it is better for you to give them a call to help verify,..
cos the website is updated?????? (dun think so) i think they update once a year,.,...hehehe,..

Yes, it is true that the price on the web is cheaper than if you buy it there. I even asked the sales guy there...and he had no answer to my question. I wanted to buy this Les Paul II last year and checked the price on the web. When I got to Bras Basah, the price was $50 more. I told him about the quoted price on the web...you know what...he told me to order from the net instead.....Now that's what I call...Customer Service at it's best :) I ended up not buying.....

i also have similar experience with sweelee. I buy stuff from them frequently. Most of their product are 20% cheaper than stated. So never be intimidated by their price

Thats right, if you buy amp with they'll give you slightly more discount. i got my epiphone les paul standard plus which was stated $800 on the price tag but in the end i paid $640 instead with the hardcase too. If unsure just ask. Here's one advise - head down to SL to try the guitar then ask the salesman the FINAL price for the guitar. Then he'll take out the calculator and press press press. This is good in a way as you can decide whether the guitar is worth the price after trying. If you need time to think abt it, just tell him straight. He'll understand. There you go.

I'm surprise that was the answer given to you.. Please drop me a PM on this salesperson detail and I'll have a chat with him. :)

Basically our online store's role is to publish most of our Showroom's discounted price and promotional items. Thus usually it's about the same price unless individual showroom have some additional clearance discount for certain items.

For comparison of prices, best person to contact in our downtown showroom would be Adam or Aryadni. ;)

i find it weird that here in singapore it's normal not to display the final price. instead you ask the shop how much. then they say: "yah minus xx% discount".

some items in web are cheaper. but if you consider the shipping cost and duty you have to pay, it'll end up almost the same as local price.:-D
