Buying from Singapore

Okay guys, I'll be travelling to Singapore this summer, July 13-18th. Which I believe is the Shopping Festival? Am I wrong. Any guitar stores with decent discounts?
I plan to buy a Mesa V twin Pedal.
Any idea on where in Singapore that might be possible?

And a quick question.
Suppose I am to buy a decent tube amp, with a clean warm sound, would having pedals be a good idea, As I play a variety of music from blues to hard rock/old metal.

P.S. Off topic: Where in Singapore would they sell decent Alto Sax. Preferably Yamaha or Selmer.

Hi Doc,
Firstly, where are you travelling from? I'm not convinced that Singapore is going to be cheap, Great Singapore Sale or not. There are plenty of posts in this forum alluding to the reality of sale prices at the big music stores.
With regards to your "off topic" check out www.dennismusicshop.com. Dennis sells new and secondhand brass and woodwind. His is about the only "oldfashioned" music shop here - only a small place, but I've always had good service.
