Buying Drums From USA Webby? Advise Please...

Hi,

Saw the thread regarding buying drumstick from US which appear to be cheaper after all, but had anyone try buying drumset from there?

I thought this is a good bargain though I am not sure how good it is:
Cannon MX600 Complete Beginner Drum Set with Cymbals, Seat & Hardware - Black and Wine Red

Any advise or comments?

No do not get this Kit..you will regret it for sure.

Kit Cost app USD200 x 1.48 = S$296.00

The Freight will probably cost you S$500.00

Total = S$796.00 (let's say S$800.00)

With S$800.00 - What Kit can you get?

A better Resale-Drum-Kit or

A Cheaper Brand New Kit almost similar like this one.......
no..no - dont get it ...ask around here there will be many who will help you get a Value For Your Money Kit.

even if it's a darn good deal, like RD said, shipping will cost you. plus, if the person doesnt pack the shells properly, they might get damaged. so unless you can trust the person to do a killer packing job, i say no.

with 800 bucks I rather buy pearl forum, export or peace demolition! Stock skins can stay for awhile, till u got more cash for better skins imo

Yes Rate is 1.36 (todays's Rate) - I had been buying from e-bay (won 10 bidding so far just last month won 3 & this month won 2 items) - -The hell Paypal actually costed it out at 1.42 for my items?...

1.48 is too high (thks J) but better include insurance here also.

So, on safe side...to be sure.

wonder whether they charge higher rate too last time before e currency start to drop...
