Browsing for a MIJ fender P-bass. Preferably a cream one.

hello guys im' looking for a fender MIJ p-bass in cream with full maple neck. thank you!

The only one in Cream is more a transparent milky blonde with a gold anodised pickguard. The normal cream or VWH according to Fender Japan colour-coding is a '62-look, which will have a rosewood board. I have one in that colour with the tortoiseshell pickguard, but it's not the maple you would like.

Many will tell you that Maple is Brighter while Rosewood sounds Warmer. While I think it varies from a myriad of other factors, it is a safe assumption to believe the former. Theres always the tone knob to mix things up, so don't be too concerned for now. Just play both and see for yourself eventually.
