bridge

recently i removed all my strings just to clean and to put in new strings. however after, putting back the strings and tuned it, i found that my bridge is higher then original. it is popping out and i am afraid that the bridge will pop out anytime, any suggestions?

Are the tension of the new strings which you bought different from the old set? If it is, then it is normal that the bridge will be popping out abit, you have to adjust the springs behind to tighten it or something, if you dun know how to do it, send it to a guitar shop or something. :D

did you change string gauges? is it a floyd rose? i have a tactic. block the bridge behind the guitar. Align the bridge (if it is a Lo Pro, there is a alignment indication at the side of the bridge). Align that to the body of the guitar & re-string & tune from there. Thats wat i always do.

matt: we don't even know what kinda bridge you are dealing with. might be giving you all the wrong inputs here...
