Gibson SG Select 100% Maple wood. *Gold* hardware. Original hardcase included.
SG Select, as it`s name says features only carefully selected appointments and materials. It kicks off with a solid, double-cut body made of mahogany back and flamed maple top. This is one of the rare SG models with top wood cover, for SG was envisioned as a work horse guitar with stripped down styling and bucket loads of sustain. Natural, Cherry and Transparent Ebony are color options available for this model. All of them are finished in Gibson`s traditional nitrocellulose gloss. Bridge section is also a traditional one. It features a tune-o-matic bridge with stoptail bar in the back. Active humbuckers on this model have gold-plated covers and standard controls unit. Neck is made of mahogany and it`s topped with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard.
