Boss NS-2

I sold off my NS-2 within a week, i feel that it does eat up tone slighly and I decided I could live with the 60-cycle hum .

i've had an NS-2 in my setup for years now and never found it to be any more tone-sucking than the average boss pedal..can't live without it.

wasn't there a topic about the NS-2 recently? do a search. this is turning out to be practically the same thread...

i would love to have a rack ISP decimator though.

locally, nowhere, dont think anyone has it regionally either.
derekB from http://rocksolidamps.com has the best price for the pedal version on the internet (US$119), but he doesn't ship internationally so you'll have to factor in vPOST costs as well.

will probably cost around $200ish,so i decided to stick with my NS-2 for now

i read a review on Guitar World abt the ISP, the review was certainly impressive... so i though if ISp is sold locally i can get one, looks like i hv to stick to NS-2... btw... how much is it??

Guys I know this is OFT~ but i'm flying to aussi to study soon~ maybi i can help you all buy stuff which there have and can't bi found in singapore? But you all have to wait till i coming back lah~ Or when my gf go and vist mi she can bring back and you all can pick it up from her too~ how abut tat?

because ordering from the US,even with shipping would probably be cheaper..

tama iron cobras - $700+ AUS.
boss metalzone around - $300 AUS list
used zildjian scimitar crash, beat as hell - around $150 AUS
.70 gauge loose guitar string - $6.50 AUS (!)

prices are a CONSERVATIVE estimate from memory based on the last time i was in melbourne, feel free to correct me but its a known fact aussies are completely RAPED when it comes to gear prices.

there are exceptions though,i think ibanez/epiphone stuff is pretty cheap.

wow~ if tat is the case den maybi it's not realli worth it at all... but i'll bi in perth so i see wat is the price there~ kaoz~ was thinking to get my marshall DSL401 there caz i don't wan to carry there!!!

Urm as a guide, a Marshall DSL401 lists at just around AUD$1.4k.

You might get a few hundred dollars off if there's a special but nothing insane like the Swee Lee sales over here. The retailers generally have really small margins to work with.

And yes the pricing is ridiculous there due to the way distribution is set up. The price you pay for a unit second hand is about the same amount you'd pay for the same unit over here new. But aside from that, there's a great second hand market for gear because of the size (or existance?) of a self-sustaining domestic music industry, esp if you're after classics. I came across a bevy of Boss CE-2's once. Drools.

Yes, you'll be better off ordering stuff in from the US or even ebay.

BRINGING a few pedals over to sell on the other hand...
