boss hm-2 problem

my pedal doesn't light up properly when i use a regular supply. however, it lights up properly using the battery. i doubt the led is spoilt. is it because maybe the supply is not enough? i read about the stuff about aca supply thing on a thread. or is it because the supply port thingy is not working properly.

Yes, it uses an ACA power supply to work properly. But actually, you can just chain it with other pedals that uses the PSA power and it should work normally. You can read it up by googling about chainings ACA pedals using PSA power supplys...

ya did that.. i realise ive been doing that all the while.. only this time i took it out and supply it individually..
