BOSS DD-7 issues.

Hi all!

I'm not too sure if this is the correct forum to post this in, but I'll try here anyways.

I just bought a second-hand BOSS Digital Delay DD-7 pedal. As I'm new to the pedal, it took me quite a while to figure everything out, as there as just so many functions.

Anyways, I'm having a couple of issues with the pedal. Not sure if I messed it up or something while fiddling around with it, but I really hope someone can help me out with it!

For those of you who are familiar with the pedal, you would know that the DD-7 has a recording/looper function, which is activated when you turn the MODE dial to the 'HOLD tip; this is indicated when the LED light goes off once you reach the 'HOLD tip. However, my pedal doesn't do that; instead, the recording/looper function is somehow at the 'Analog' tip. So if i want to activate the recording function, I have to dial it to 'Analog' instead of 'HOLD'.

On top of that, AFTER recording, playing back, and stopping the playback, the time modes seem to get "slowed down" by a notch - eg. the 'HOLD' tip becomes 50ms, '50ms' tip becomes 200ms, '200ms' tip becomes 800ms, '800ms' tip becomes 3200ms, '3200ms' tip seems to remain at 3200ms though.

I'm really frustrated, and was wondering if anyone knows a way that i can fix this? Or if there are any shops that can do pedal repairs at reasonable rates?

Thank you!
