Have been reading about mote's Opto and Indy's Ross...

Did u get just the schematic or the kits?

Is yours the Opto Mod?

What are the improvements? Really less hissing and tone coloration?
What are your settings?

i bought the kit.
hissing is less but not tottally eliminated.
Its a compressor!!! will def have noise if sustain is put too high.

Im using the opto mod.
coloration definitely improved. Previously u lose all the high end with this pedal, getting all mud. Almost no cloration, sounds a tad brighter!!

my settings level at 2 - 3oclcok
tone at 2- oclock
attack at 9-oclock
sustain between 9 - 11

im using this more as a treble boost for cleans, while adding sustain.
since im using a floyd, with dark sounding pups. Sounds great when used together with chorus.
