music was done by AR Rahman.. i dun really fancy his works though, i prefer jatin lalit, javed akhtar, anu malik's composition where there are more tunes which gets stuck in ur head.. nevertheless, i prefer old hindi songs..

my family members are avid hindi film lovers..

Actually, I personally believe if you have an idea of Delhi (old Delhi, in this case) or other iconic places in India and are aware about the local culture, its very very easy to connect and enhoy the music.

Its absolutely impossible to imagine what it is like to be in so heavily populated and chaotic Indian cities being located in such an efficient and antiseptic place like Singapore.

I know Indians who scoff at all bollywood stuff, not that I myself is a fan of everything that comes out of that place, but good to find foreign following. My favourites include R D Burman. Otherwise a big fan of some Arabic and Spanish music.
