check out my old skins... the spongebob one was a killer...

ermm, first of all learn some basic html-ing. linking, inserting images, font attributes and some other stuff. then learn to use adobe photoshop or some other image editing softwares. so that u can create beeyouteafool bgs. its not a must though coz u can have a plain skin.

once you've understood basic html tags, download a skin template and look at how its organised. try editing the contents there to u'r suitability. meaning chance some things in it, maybe the background, the fonts and stuff. once you're used to that, u can move on to the next step, making u'r own skin. =)

why do you need a fancy looking blog in the first place? what for if your blog look nice but your content is boring? not to say your content is boring lah cos i haven't seen your blog. look at maddox, boring layout but awesome content. has one of the highest pageclicks in the world.
