Maybe she'll pop by here one day! If Mum could come... Bjork, Sigur Ros, Bang Gang should be next.................... :DD

Mum killed the stage during mosaic, was literally going high in my seat. They were really cute, like Bjork too.. I think it's an Icelandic characteristical trait. I mean which band actually comes to Singapore to perform and expresses to the audience that they wanted to catch Ah Meng and was really sad to know that she passed away, in that cute accent of theirs.. and they were asking us where to go after the show, cos they were bored. Lol..

"Wow it looks like there is snow falling on you".. <-- On the stage lights over the audience, closing line for Mum before they left the stage

Did any of you guys catch em?

For myself, it would have been great to have caught her here in singapore, but i wouldn't have forked out to just catch her performance in the region. I might be wrong, but i think bjork has performed in singapore at zouk before in the early 90s for support of her debut or Post album. For the present though, i think her vocal melodies have settled into a very predictable rut, no matter what latest in style producers/musicians she's managed to rope in, but when she manages to get it all in check, it's still quite good.

I did catch mum at the esplanade. It was quite a bland performance. I was hoping that they'd bring their home made music equipment out, but they stuck to the more robust normal ones, though they had a malfunction on an old casio mini keyboard. I was pleasantly surprised that their drummer is a lot lot better than i thought he was.

My friends are split into 2 camps about the Mum show: either they felt underwhelmed like ac or they thought it was the best thing since the Wonderbra like sage...

Me? I'm not a fan... didn't bother to go.

Mosaic, it's definitely The Roots FTW!!!!

Bjork performed in Zouk in the early 90's for Debut. I donch really like Medulla but everyone adores Vespertine... For me, it's still Homogenic.

Homogenic is great! But only because of All is full of love and joga.

Volta... otoh has that plagiarist timbaland, is a little hohum.
