Bill Lawrence Pickups

Anyone here knows if L500 R has a good clean tone ?

I have one in a les paul. Cleans are almost strattish. I remember someone else on this board has it too.

I own a Cort Source and i must say the neck pickups has a really nice clean tone... so dunno if i shd change it for a L500R or not...

actually im not sure also coz when i had my n2 i heard stuff about bill lawrence installed on the N4s ... btw im talking about nuno bettencourt's washburn models.. so yeah thats why i thought bill lawrence is the brand itself.. *pulls you out*

clean sound still cant beat fender la,but good enuff,if got effect,then just set it up using the effect board lo =)

mm I think it can pull off the glassy cleans pretty well, though it can't go up against the fender, however, I use it on a Les Paul, so on a lighter bodied guitar it would sound brighter. Oh have to warn you, those fat clean tones CANNOT be attained without combining it with the neck pickup.

i intend to use the L500R as neck pickups... dats y wan to knw if its good for dat or not....
btw..my guitars a semi hollow wan.....

hmm I'm not sure how it would work for the neck position, but it's quite high output though, so I'm not sure how badly the semi hollow would feedback.
