best source for mesa?

Mesa Boogie

Aiya, so many good amps around why Mesa Boogie. I suggest you give your self a chance to try some good amps which are available in Singapore. If no choice then you have to buy on line.

Why Mesa?

Aiya, so many good amps around. Why must buy Mesa? Best alternative is to bring in from US but have to specify clearly that you want voltage of 220 transformer.Otherwise, you will to go through hell if they send you the amp using 110v. Good Luck

Not really hell.. just need to headto sim lim tower and buy a transformer.. only sets you bak around $60 for a 300w step down...

i just used a mesa boogie today from blackwood , i think the tread starter would know what im talking about at SMA Day

when i was at musikmesse in frankfurt earlier this year, i saw that its called Mesa Engineering now. used to be Mesa Boogie. oh well. i always thot that boogie sounds nicer.

then the shipping would be killer i think... not to mention they don't handle it with care...

approx shipping for a 40kg head?

Although I'm in Canada rather than the States, I'm shipping my Mesa Lonestar Classic back. So I guess the following would partially answer your question.

The cheapest I've found here would be CAD$5.75 per kg which includes all sort of weird taxes but excluding customs and door to door delivery. Insurance would cost about 2.5% of whatever cost of the amp is.

It would probably take a week or so. And forget about going by ocean freight. Air would be cheaper as they don't charge by CBM.

i was having dinner with Steve Vai and Matt Bellamy just now.. they complimented on the design of their upcoming signature guitars which i drew. HAHHA

im at tanah merah , ignore my display location oh and i'll see you in school . Yeah before or after a show we usually thank blackwood and ebenex , btw he was kidding about the heaven and earth green tea thing , inside joke

you can make a trip to bangkok! i saw many mesa at the siam discovery guitar shop when i went there earlier this year.

Prices in Bangkok (the place at Siam Paragon - Music Connection I think) are the same or more as Bentley, i.e. double U.S. prices.
