Thinking of the best place with the best service with regards to setting up guitars with best deal

Changing pickups, adjusting etc.

any suggestions?

If the definition of "best deal" refers to reliability, TY Music comes highly recommended. The two brothers are approachable, willing to take the time to talk you through your intended changes, and are skillful in their work. I haven't come across a shoddy job from them yet.

I would highly recommend TY Music too, their wiring for my coil split pickups are tidy, and they managed to file the nut down to an extreme level

so far i only have experience with TYMC's work with regards to setup. for me they do a great job and i have no complaints.

I'd recommend TY and Beez too.
But since they've been recommended by the good folk above, I'd like to add Sound Alchemy & Mike(not someone else) @ SV Guitars.
Sound Alchemy - Changed by old Epi Les Paul's pickups & "revived" it because it was virtually unplayable.
Mike - A lot of praises from him, never tried personally but I've seen what he's done to my friend's guitar.

Personally, i've always gone to Mike@SV Guitars. He does an immaculate job, and charges decent prices for his work. A very professional and nice person, he's always available to chat even as he works on our axe. However, he sometimes has a queue and thus you might have to wait before he starts on your axe. I've not been to TYMC for setups/repairs before, but i've heard nothing but good things about them.

If quality is the priority and price is not an issue, the only person in Singapore who can provide THAT level of service and craftsmanship is Malcolm Tan. Visit his website at www.mtlutherie.com.

Recently, Davis quoted me $30-50 for a FR setup & $30 for changing pups (all 3).
Has anyone tried their service & can you provide some feedback?
Tks!

@vwkng I have sent my guitar to davis for a pickup swap before, they did a neat and tidy work for the wiring.. and charged me only $10 for the service as i had purchased the pickups from them.. as for set up, I've nv tried before..you can try.. but still I think Beez is still one of the best for set ups.. he might even teach you a trick or 2 on set ups ! Hope this helps !

Go to Beez if you need to have your guitar service on the spot. Tymusic is good too but you might have to leave your guitar there for awhile as they usually have long queue.
