Many including I would recommend buying secondhand, your dollar goes a longer way. You just need to know what to look out for in the condition of the kit, and what the kit comes with (e.g. cymbals, stands, throne etc), in this regard you might want to bring a drummer friend with you.
Recommended kits (im assuming acoustic) would be the Tama Superstar, Pearl Forum/Export and Pearl Rhythm Traveller. Some go as low as 300 for the Tama and Rhythm Traveller, and maybe 5-600 for the Forum and Export. Cheers
