Best acoustic-electric guitar for $600~800?

hey there

i'm looking to get a new acoustic-electric guitar, spanish brands of preference. Something within a price range of about $600~800 seems very much reasonable for a good instrument.

any suggestions as to which brand within that price range is good? i'm not really that into yamaha, and much less conventional brands like fender or ibanez unless there are specific models with stellar reviews.

otherwise, any suggestions? thanks.

Maestro. Drop down to their store for a look. If you're not looking for a full sized guitar i would say the Big Baby Taylor at Sinamex. Full sized, i would say Custom Acoustic at Citymusic, or Fairclough guitars, available at Sound Alchemy and Byleft.

Or maybe some MIK Takamine @ Davis Guitar or Luthermusic, $600 region. Crafter guitars around $450 to $600 @ Ranking Sports.

Since the budget is arnd $600 to $800, u have a wide variety of choices to choose from.

If you're looking at steel-strings, perhaps you could try out Custom Acoustics at City Music. Very nice features for the money, and with that budget, you can get either solid-top or full-solid with Fishman pickup equipped.
