$100.00 (Fixed) Set of 3 new
Unused Handwound single coil pickups to vintage specs. 42 gauge wire and staggered-height Alnico 5 magnets. Black and white/yellow cloth pushback wire. Middle pickup reverse wound, reverse polarity for hum cancelling when mixed with neck or bridge pickup. Coils wrapped with paper tape and wax potted to protect the coils and reduce microphonics.
I have a set of 3 single coils. No pickup covers, just the pickups and their cloth wires. Totally unused.
Overwound pickups will provide higher output. Underwound pickups will provide more clarity and tone, but mine are just right for the spanky blues, jazzy, smoky tone.
